Check-in runs from a web page, not an app anybody installs, and it needs no portal login. You set one passcode for the event, and anyone you give it to can admit arrivals from their own phone.
- Open the Registration Dashboard.
- Type a passcode into Gate Check-In. Something short and sayable works best, because you will be reading it out.
- Click Save, then Open Check-In App to see what your volunteers will see.
- Send that same link to your door team and tell them the passcode.
At the door
- Scan the QR on the badge or on the ticket in the attendee's phone, and they are in.
- No code to scan? Search by name and admit them from the list.
- Anyone already checked in shows as such, so a duplicate scan cannot double count.
The Dashboard's Checked In tile counts up against your attendee total while the doors are open, so you can see the room filling from wherever you are.
