One person, one registration. As soon as someone finishes entering the attendee's email or mobile number, the form checks for an existing registration. If there is one, the form stops right there and says so, before any items are picked.
The halt offers to email a modification link. The email goes to the address already on the registration, never to whatever was just typed, so nobody can fish for someone else's order.
What a modification can and cannot do
- Free items swap freely. Changed your session picks or your meal choice? Uncheck one, check another, save.
- Paid items can be added. New paid picks go through checkout as an addition to the original registration.
- Nothing paid can be removed. Purchased items show a locked Purchased badge. Refunds go through you, the organizer, never through self-service.
- The person and their registrant type are locked; a modification can never turn into a different registration.
Group rules still apply while swapping, sold-out items stay unavailable, and an updated confirmation email goes out after every change.
